About

My ideal client is someone eager to break free from outdated patterns of responding to current life challenges, seeking greater emotional freedom and self-reliance. They often grapple with persistent issues like ruminating and spiraling negative thoughts, harsh self-criticism, a lack of self-compassion, diminished self-esteem, and low confidence, which can manifest in difficulties navigating intimate and platonic relationships, workplace dynamics, marital conflicts, or childrearing responsibilities. Their core needs revolve around developing the skills to regulate emotions independently, without relying on constant external validation. Ultimately, their goals center on releasing the grip of past traumatic events that continue to influence the present, allowing them to cultivate a more compassionate, confident, and unburdened way of living—driven by a deep desire for personal growth, healthier connections, and a renewed sense of inner peace. I help clients by fostering a safe, trusting therapeutic space where they can be authentic. Using a person-centered approach, I guide clients to notice negative self-talk, build curiosity about its origins, and work with somatic and parts therapy. I employ CBT for objective self-assessment and EMDR to process lingering trauma, promoting emotional healing. Starting therapy can feel daunting, from finding a therapist to ensuring the right fit. I’m here to listen with curiosity and compassion, guiding you to connect with your most true, wise self. Reach out to begin your journey toward healing and self-discovery in a safe, supportive space. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I served as a Medical Social Worker in hospice, renal, and oncology care, supporting individuals through profound challenges with compassion and care. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2017 and hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida.
